Warm hellos to everyone!

Last week's THOT was to be a small, short thing, as I was just
returning from teaching Module I in Minneapolis, but as I typed I got
hotter and hotter under the collar and more inspired. Inspired, according
to Wayne Dyer, means that one is "In Spirit." Connected. Part of the universe.

Think about that for a moment - what an awesome thought!
...And that is what it felt like - words and ideas simply arrived and flowed.
No pre-meditated thought was needed. And this is the very crux of the
problem: We all forget that we, as Chiropractors, work with that very essence
of creation, that nidus which does the healing. All we do is set into motion
that awesome power which resides inside each of us - with no interference. 

When we are connected to the Power of the Universe amazing things happen:
Patients show up on time, the little girl with Asthma that you've been having a
tough time with suddenly recovers, the young mom with infertility suddenly
gets pregnant under your care, Mary's breech baby turn hours before her
planned C-section, you've been asked to appear on a TV show, you cannot
keep ahead of all the referrals - you have a waiting list 3-4 weeks long,
and you have hot and cold running CAs. You are on purpose. You are on fire.

You are unstoppable. Nothing gets in your way. Nothing.
You don't compromise, you take no prisoners and patients pay you in
advance for your care. You don't take insurance and patients fly in to see
you from everywhere. Every adjustment you deliver is perfect - it is guided
by an intelligence you cannot comprehend but trust implicitly.

You are connected.

You look in awe at your hands - those amazing instruments of healing and
you quietly thank God for being who you are. You are a Chiropractor.
It just doesn't get better!

Last week's THOT seemed to resonate with all of you. I received a ton of
mail from doctors all over the globe.... Love to hear from all of you!

But....there were a number of doctors who asked to be taken off my mailing
 list and, I am embarrassed to say, most were from the Province of Ontario.
It appears that doctors from the Peoples Republic of Ontario are not yet
ready for free and unsubluxated thinking. My THOT seemed not to be in line
with "current trends"  in Chiropractic: Someone's warped idea of where the
profession ought to be going. I read fear that such wellness philosophy and
free flowing ideas as expressed in my THOTS might actually make some
doctors who need it the most, think.  Can't have that. It may spell dissidence.
Well...here's what I think: piss on it.
There, I feel better already!

We need to rally under one universal thought: That the body is a self-healing
organism and we facilitate that process. End of story.
