That Amazing Person in Your Life, by Dr. Ogi Ressel
Wednesday, June 17th 2009Warm hellos to everyone,
Ok....I have a totally different THOT for you.
Let's talk about the most amazing person in your house. The person
who makes all things possible, takes care of all the details, and without
whom the house would perish.
Your wife.
That tireless person who takes care of your children, the shopping, the bills,
pays the accounts, watches your bank balance, makes dinner (in most instances),
takes the kids to the dentist, for their eye exam, for shoes, gets them ready for
the first day at school, waits for them at the bus stop, takes them to the games,
the piano lessons, the movies(your'e too busy), buys them the occasional junk
lunch at the Big M, cleans the house while you pretend to help, plans most meals,
takes the car for service, cleans after the pets, bathes the dog and the kids and
occasionally you, irons the clothes, takes care of your office, helps you with staffing
challenges, hiring, training, firing, keeps you sharp, asks you those embarrassing
questions only wives know how to ask, and is everything for everyone.
You need to realize one thing - your wife did not choose to be a chiropractor.
No. She chose you. BUT, somehow she is now your office manager and your
troubleshooter. And she does these things without any hesitation and/or
complaint....and she gets paid very little! Slavery comes to mind in many instances.
Lighten up!
Here's what I suggest you do:
Plan a special day for that amazing person. A hot date, a dinner & movie, a
surprise weekend in the Bahamas, a concert, a limo ride to her favorite restaurant,
flowers, milk chocolates (wives are allergic to dark chocolate), a picnic lunch,
a bottle of wine, a tub full of bubbles and her favorite book, a massage, a
weekend at a spa resort, a "slave-for-the-day" certificate from you, breakfast
in bed, new lingerie, the list is only limited by your imagination!
So, please honor that amazing person who is really the power behind you!
Warmest wishes,
Dr. Ogi Ressel
PS: This THOT specifically applies to wives - however, let it be known that the
same things holds true for partners, husbands, fiancees, and all those people
in our life who add power to who we are and support us in all ways!
