Warm hellos to everyone!

WOW.....you don't miss a thing, do you? Cards and letters and messages
that many of you missed receiving your THOT last week. Ok.....That was
totally my fault. Somehow, through no fault of my own, I ended up on a
beach in South Carolina for the week. No computer, no internet, sand
between my toes, salt ocean water, fresh air, fabulous sunshine, deserted
beaches, no crowds, and a very close friend of the opposite sex by
my side.....it was a fantabulistic experience!

So.....looks like I have some major sucking up to do to make it Ok with
all of you. 
And, as you already know, I can get pretty much "in the face" in my THOTS,
so let's go:

One of my close friends, and a former patient, returned from Las Vegas
and ran into Mario Andretti, one of the most famous race car drivers of
our time and while there asked Mario to sign a picture of himself with his
son and grandson with the inscription;
"To Dr. Ogi." How cool is that? - I have it hanging in my kitchen - you
should see me making dinner under the checkered flag! Zero to 60 in seconds!

Mario said that he lives by and instills these values in his son and grandson;
1.  Know what it is specifically that you want to achieve
2.  Know the price involved - monetary, time, physical, mental, sacrifices, obstacles, 
     insecurities, your baggage, "letting go", etc.
3.  Pay it!

He also said that success is non-negotiable.

How many of us form goals that are nebulous and unclear and undated.....AND
we tend to frame our goals in terms of a wish, a hope, a whist, a dream, and a
prayer. And, as you know, dreaming and wishing for things - new patients,
more income, larger office, etc., just brings you more of the same - more wishing.
After all, that is exactly what you asked for. You asked that your wish be granted.
And it is - you receive more wishing and more hoping, and more dreaming, etc,
.... you get the idea.

So, why would you be surprised when you are not reaching your goals?
It takes guts, an iron will, and discipline to go after that which you desire
with all your heart.
Your goal becomes framed in your soul as a quest, and nothing, absolutely
nothing, detracts you from this laser-beam focus. That is the focus you must
have in order to have the practice of your dreams....and the guts....and the
discipline....and you must also have a heart-felt knowingness that you will
absolutely and resolutely achieve it.

You must mentally and spiritually already have "arrived" even before being
there on a physical plane. You must taste it, you must see it as already there,
and you must embrace it with your whole being. It is only then that the dream
you are pursuing will manifest itself to you and you will relish in its abundance
with unbridled joy and enthusiasm! You have arrived!

So....get out there and seize your day!
